..... we went swimming with the dolphins!

And we had a blast! The whole family went to Mexico for a week - mom, dad, my brother, his fiance Laura and his 3 kids, Alyssa (12), Dawson (10), and Dylan (4) along with Bill and I. This was the first trip south for my brother and his kids so I decided to surprise my niece and nephews with a dolphin swim encounter. I waited until we got to the water park to tell them and they were pumped. Here's a picture of us just outside the park

The kids were so surprised and excited - I had so much fun doing this with them. I went in with them because Dylan needed an adult to go in with him. Here are a few pictures of us - taken by family who were watching. The dolphin we swam with was a 6yo female named Bella

We watched all kinds of tricks


And learned lots of neat information about dolphins. This was great for Dawson who loves Animal Planet shows... we also got to pet her as she swam by.

We also had a splash fight (Bella won that one) and got to dance with her in the water

Look at these faces - made it all worthwhile for Auntie :D
